Elite Tree Services (East Anglia) Limited is a small local family business. Paul Thomas established the business in 1995, and is still our director. Having gained an HND in Forestry at the Scottish School of Forestry in Inverness, and having gained experience in both commercial forestry and arboriculture with the Forestry Commission and in the private sector, he returned to Suffolk, where he had grown up. He set up as a sole trader in 1995 with the help of his father and a trailer borrowed from a friend. Through quality of service and hard work, the reputation of the business was cultivated and in 2003 Elite Tree Services (East Anglia) Limited was incorporated.
Our main office and yard are in Kesgrave, near Ipswich and we have smaller depots near Framlingham, Claydon and Colchester. We are happy to work throughout East Anglia –

Our people and what we do
Paul Thomas – Director
Responsible for overall management and running the company including pricing, customer liaison and advice, Health & Safety and project management.
David Thomas – Foreman
David is our man on the ground. He organises our teams and equipment, and is the link between the office and the teams on site. David is responsible for the day to day running of our customer’s jobs and equipment, and for customer liaison.
Neil Cresswell – Engineer
Neil is responsible for the day to day upkeep and servicing of our equipment including repairs and site call outs. He also delivers and operates our equipment for our teams and hire customers.
Supervisors
Each of our on-site teams has a site supervisor responsible for the day to day running of the works in hand. These are highly qualified and experienced individuals managing staff and equipment on site and are responsible for on-site customer liaison.
Operatives
We are very lucky to have a range of highly trained and skilled professional operatives including tree surgeons, groundsmen and fencers who carry out our work to a very high standard and to our customer’s full satisfaction
