As one of the leading tree surgeons in Ipswich, we deal with a wide range of issues. One of our most recent jobs was for a domestic client who was experiencing issues with a walnut tree. Our tree surgeons know how to tackle trees of all sizes, and they were quickly dispatched to the client’s property to see what could be done.
The Challenge
The walnut tree in question was in the corner of a garden, and had a very low crown that prevented easy access. As a result, the area around the tree had become very overgrown, spoiling the overall look of the garden. The client didn’t want to sacrifice the tree, so we quickly came up with a plan that would leave the tree in place but would free up much more space in the garden, and allow the client to complete the vision that they had for their outside space. Luckily, our tree surgeons have seen plenty of cases like this before, and the solution was a simple one.
The Solution
We decided that the most appropriate course of action would be to lift the crown of the walnut tree. We’ve got plenty of experience when it comes to crown reductions, and we were able to remove the parts of the crown that were causing the access issues – all while ensuring that the tree retained a full, balanced look. When we were finished with the tree, we moved on to clearing the area below. As you can see from the before and after photos this made a massive difference to the corner of the garden. The client was then able to landscape the area as they wanted to, bringing that part of the garden in line with the rest of their outdoor space.
