Reduction of a tree is carried out to help maintain its structure and form, whilst not shadowing its surrounding objects and is second nature to the team at Elite trees. This particular project required road management because of the location of this Maple tree.
The project
Although this maple tree was relatively small, it had thrived in its countryside environment and grown very fast, outgrowing its position in the client’s small garden. We made sure to take the necessary levels of caution during this project because the tree was situated near a public road and it was close to neighboring driveways.
The proximity of the tree means it will need ongoing management so they don’t becoming overbearing with its close proximity to the road and neighboring driveways. The work our team completed reducing the tree would need to be carried out every 3 to 5 years to help maintain a steady and healthy growth.
Using our vehicle chipper, rope and harness we were able to safely remove a large amount from the crown on the tree. Effective road management made the project efficient.
The outcome
Even though we had good access to the site, managing it properly with properties and driveways and paths our road and environment management processes prevailed, and something second nature to us at Elite Trees. The outcome was a beautifully trimmed Maple tree ready for the next seasons growth.
